By accessing and using this savings group management application, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

This application provides tools for managing savings groups (Vikoba/SACCOS/Chamas), including:

• Member registration and management
• Contribution tracking and payment recording
• Loan management and repayment tracking
• Penalty calculations and payment reminders
• Profit distribution and cycle closing
• Financial reporting and member statements

3. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Not use the service for illegal activities
• Respect other group members' privacy
• Pay contributions, loans, and penalties as agreed by your group
• Notify administrators of any errors or discrepancies

4. Administrator Responsibilities

Group administrators agree to:

• Manage group finances responsibly and transparently
• Accurately record all payments and transactions
• Distribute profits fairly according to group rules
• Keep member information confidential
• Resolve disputes fairly and promptly

5. Financial Transactions

All financial transactions (contributions, loans, penalties) are managed by your group. We provide the software platform but are not responsible for financial disputes, losses, or mismanagement within your group. Members should verify all transactions and report errors immediately.

6. Payment Processing

For M-Pesa and other payment integrations, you acknowledge that:

• Payment processing is subject to third-party terms and conditions
• We are not responsible for payment processor failures or delays
• Transaction fees may apply
• Refunds are subject to group policies and payment processor rules

7. Subscription and Fees

Groups may be subject to subscription fees or trial periods. Subscription status affects access to certain features. Administrators are responsible for maintaining active subscriptions.

8. Data Backup and Loss

While we take measures to protect your data, we recommend groups maintain their own records. We are not liable for data loss due to technical failures, user error, or other unforeseen circumstances.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Users can delete their accounts at any time from Account Settings. Deleted accounts cannot be recovered.

10. Limitation of Liability

This service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any financial losses, damages, or disputes arising from use of the service. Users assume all risks associated with group financial activities.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws. Disputes should be resolved amicably within the group or through appropriate legal channels.
